Provides assistance in support of teen and children's collection development, programming, and delivery of services.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education and Experience
   1. Bachelor's Degree from a college or university is required. Desired areas of study are Library Science, Early Childhood, Education or English. Coursework in youth service, library service, children's or young adult literature preferred.
   2. Knowledge and experience using an automated library system and databases preferred.
   3. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher preferred.
   4. Cash Handling experience.
   5. Previous Customer Service experience.

      OR

2. Any combination of education and experience would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job.
3. Ability to speak Spanish is desired but not required.
