Demonstrated experience in appraising, processing, and describing archival collections
Experience in processing digital archival collections, including experience in creating metadata descriptions, digitization, and care of born-digital materials
Experience providing reference/research and instructional services

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Library, the University Archivist will aid in the identification, appraisal, preservation, description, and access to archival materials related to UT Tyler and its special collections, including print, digital, and born-digital materials
Archivist will provide instruction, reference/research services, advocacy, and outreach for the University Archives and Special Collections
Benefits
$4,166.67 monthly
This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length
