    The Booher Library at Seminary of the Southwest is hiring a part time Patron Services Intern.

    A Patron Services Intern is enrolled in a Master of Science in Information Studies (MIS, MLS, or MSIS) program and staffs the Booher Library Welcome Desk providing research assistance and library-related services to library patrons. When not assisting patrons, this person also develops the library's growing collection of LibGuides. Opportunities for other types of library projects are available based on candidate's learning goals and skill sets.

    Pay rate: $18.00 an hour. Approximately 8 hours a week. Afternoon availability, Monday-Friday, is preferred.

    Seminary of the Southwest is a graduate school in Austin, TX with about 125 students. Booher Library is currently under construction and the library is operating in a temporary location in a seminary owned house. The newly renovated building is scheduled to reopen in fall 2023.
