A wide range of student- and faculty-centered services are the cornerstone of the Libraries' integral role in the University of North Texas community. As the most-used service on campus and an essential component of education and research at the University of North Texas, the Libraries offer access to more than 6 million items (print and digital) along with expert personnel to assist patrons in achieving their academic and scholarly goals. We provide innovative programs and support to enhance the relationship between teaching and learning at the University of North Texas. The Collection Management Division has three departments: Collection Development, Collection Assessment, and Cataloging and Metadata Services. Serving both internal and external customers, the division provides selection, acquisition, evaluation, cataloging, processing, and collection maintenance services for the collections of the UNT Libraries.

The Electronic Resources Assistant will maintain electronic resource holdings in online knowledgebase; develop and lead projects to improve knowledgebase accuracy; exercise judgment and specialized skills to troubleshoot problems with electronic resources; oversees webscale discovery problem reporting workflow; use specialized skills to construct and edit proxy server stanzas; and assist with activation, maintenance, and evaluation of electronic resources and related records in various library systems.
