Has anyone run into a situation where a patron made book donations and a book cart to be displayed for Black History Month, but two months later had a fit because we were no longer using the cart for that purpose. Instead, we chose to display whatever month's history we are in. Now she has had a "fit" and demanded that we return the cart and books. Has anyone just given their books back or stated that once the donation is made it is the property of the library?
