Mesquite ISD has multiple librarian positions open for the 2023-2024 school year and is seeking qualified candidates to apply. Candidates must have library certification or have passed the school librarian certification test to be interviewed. Mesquite is located on the east side of the DFW metroplex and serves about 38,000 students on 51 campuses. Each campus has a certified librarian who works to accomplish our mission to advance the ability to make informed decisions and think critically. Librarians are supported by centralized budgets for print and digital resources, librarian specific professional learning throughout the year, and centralized acquisitions, cataloging and processing.

- $58,900 - $73,363 ($500 stipend) - 187 days
