General Description
Responsible for all aspects of library services to children and young adults, under the general supervision of the Library Director. Develops appropriate collection of library materials for children and young adults; plans and coordinates programs and events for children and young adults including annual Summer Reading Program and weekly storytimes. Assumes full responsibility for the library in absence of the Library Director.
Position closes March 9.
Job may close prior to the posted Close Date, depending on the needs of the City.
Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited school required
Three years of increasingly responsible, professional library experience and three years experience as a Youth Services Librarian
