The Palo Alto College Ozuna Library is seeking an energetic, customer-focused, team-player to direct, coordinate, schedule, and manage all aspects of Access Services that includes the circulation desk, interlibrary loan, reserve collection, stack management, security, facilities maintenance, and supervising Access Services staff.
The Access Services librarian will also provide onsite and virtual reference assistance, conduct in-person and virtual information literacy instruction, assist with collection development, liaison with faculty, serve on college committees, and collaborate with the library administrator to formulate goals, action plans, and procedures.
Required Education and Experience:
- Master's degree from an American Library Association accredited program
- Three years of experience as a professional librarian
- Experience leading or supervising, training, selecting, monitoring, coaching, and evaluating others.
