We currently have 1 elementary librarian position for the 23/24 school year:
We seek innovative, tech, information literacy leaders and makers who are learner-centered and seek to support teachers, administrators and families. Leander ISD Librarian positions come with 10 extra contract days for elementary school librarians, something that greatly impacts teacher retirement. There is a District Library Coordinator to support and lead professional learning and all library budgets are centrally managed to ensure equity of funding across our district.
Leander ISD serves just over 42,000 students and is located just northwest of Austin, Texas. Giddens Elementary serves just under 500 students from PreK-5th grade. I hope you'll consider joining our team and find out why "It's Different Here!"
