About Us: The Gibson D. Lewis Health Science Library supports the education, research, patient care, and community service missions of the University of North Texas Health Science Center (HSC) by meeting the information needs of faculty, students, staff, and the local health sciences community. In addition, Lewis Library oversees the John S. Marietta Library for JPS Health Network. For JPS, Lewis Librarians offer support in clinical rounding, education, research, and resource support including management of a library website providing access to JPS clinicians and employees 24/7.
Position Overview: Primarily responsible for identifying and cultivating clinical information partnerships and education opportunities to support patient care within JPS and JPS Health Network affiliated sites & clinics throughout Tarrant County; facilitating access to health information by developing educational programming and responding to requests for information, services, and resources; developing, coordinating, and evaluating library programs for JPS Health Network clinicians, staff, and administrators.
